23 weeks

How far along: 23 weeks

Baby's size: baby is more than 11 inches long and weighs just over a pound - about as large as a mango

What baby is up to (according to Babycenter.com):
Turn on the radio and sway to the music. With her sense of movement well developed by now, your baby can feel you dance. You may be able to see her squirm underneath your clothes. Blood vessels in her lungs are developing to prepare for breathing, and the sounds that your baby's increasingly keen ears pick up are preparing her for entry into the outside world. Loud noises that become familiar now — such as your dog barking or the roar of the vacuum cleaner — probably won't faze her when she hears them outside the womb.

Symptoms: still feeling great - some swelling in my feet by the end of the day

Total Weight Gain: forgot to weigh myself for this week - good thing we have a doctor's appointment on friday

Best moment since last update: went to see baby Ginger and our baby was kicking her while I was holding her - it was the first time the baby kicked up that high

Movement: yep!

Food cravings: milk - Derek said last night that our baby will have good strong bones!

What I miss: being comfortable - it's been difficult to get comfortable while sitting, laying down, sleeping, standing

What I'm looking forward to: our appointment this week and hearing the baby's heartbeat again
